Don’t be afraid to Dream

Habakkuk 2:2-3 (AMP)  2 And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may [be able to] read [it easily and quickly] as he hastens by.

3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day.

VI’SION – The act of seeing external objects; actual sight.  Faith here is turned into vision there. Websters 1828

DREAM – To think; to imagine.  Websters 1828

God gives us dreams or visions for our life.  Sometimes these seem too far off and impossible to happen.  We can think that they are just ideas that we wish would happen.  If they are true dreams from the Lord, He has them for us and if we use our faith and are obedient to what He tells us to do they can and will come to pass if you don’t give up on them.  Visions or dreams from the Lord will always line up with the Word.

Maybe you have a dream to own your own business, start a ministry, go to school, get out of debt, build your own house, have a child, learn to fly or something else.  It’s your dream allow yourself to have it and start expecting it to happen.  Don’t just wish for it.  Then do what you need to do to make it happen.  I’m not talking about forcing things to happen, I mean as God leads you do what He tells you take the faith steps as they come.  You will know if you train yourself in the little things to listen to God.

Write down your dream(s) that God has given you and start expecting them to happen. Confess the Word of God over them as He reveals scriptures to you and believe that what He (God) has said He will bring to pass.

Just because a dream is far off, not happening right now doesn’t mean it won’t happen.  It depends on faith and standing in the times when it looks as if the it(the dream) is never going to happen.

v.3 “For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day.”

Don’t let yourself get discouraged, when you find this happening get out your list of dreams that you have written down.  Confess the Word over them and continually praise and thank God for the answers.  Let yourself SEE the answer.  Remind yourself of things that others have dreamed that seemed impossible but came to pass: electric lights were just a dream once, and so were automobiles.  Read about people of faith, many of them started with little or nothing but with God all things are possible and they did amazing things.

Don’t be afraid.  DREAM!
